Used Jeep SUVs in Durham
Jeep is a brand of American automobiles that is a marque of Chrysler Group
LLC. The former Chrysler Corporation acquired the Jeep brand, along with the
remaining assets of its owner American Motors, in 1987. Jeep's line of vehicles
consists solely of sport utility vehicles and off-road vehicles but has also
included pickup trucks in the past. If you are in the market for a used vehicle
that is just as comfortable off the road as it is on..and want something that
will take you on an adventure, then a preowned Jeep is surely the answer. At

Used Jeep Wrangler
Few vehicles are better off the pavement than a Jeep Wrangler. This is the
one credited with starting it all. Traceable to the original Jeep, the Wrangler
is the very symbol of off-road capability. The Wrangler comes in the familiar
two-door version and a four-door model called Unlimited. The four-door Wrangler
Unlimited doesn't completely change the character of the Wrangler but makes it
more practical for many. It's more comfortable and convenient, offering more
cargo and rear-seat passenger space and a higher tow rating. Still, the
traditional two-door Wrangler has its charms and virtues. It is the classic.
Jeep Wranglers can take you places you've never been before.
Used Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Jeep Grand Cherokee offers superior off-road capability comparable to
that of the upscale Land Rover LR3. This makes the Grand Cherokee a fine choice
for families who venture off-road or vacation in the mountains or other remote
areas. Its edgy and angular lines make it instantly recognizable as a Jeep.
Inside, the atmosphere is light, comfortable, and enveloping, with lots of seat
adjustments, and excellent outward vision around relatively slim windshield
posts. With nearly 70 cubic feet of cargo space, the Grand Cherokee is useful
for hauling whatever a family may need. The Grand Cherokee was redesigned for
2011 with a new engine, new exterior design, and many interior updates,
including increased space.
Used Jeep Liberty
The Jeep Liberty is a practical SUV that doesn't hesitate to step off the
pavement. True to Jeep's legendary 4x4 heritage, the Liberty offers two Jeep
Trail Rated four-wheel-drive systems, giving it terrific off-road prowess. It's
tall and angular, with bold, upright styling reminiscent of the rugged 1990s
Jeep Cherokee. Unlike the old Cherokee, however, the Liberty rides nice and
smooth. Yet it maintains the ruggedness that made Jeep famous. The Jeep Liberty
is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 that makes 210 horsepower. A 4-speed automatic is
standard. In these days of 6-speed automatics, the 4-speed is somewhat
antiquated, and we don't think it gets the most out of the V6, which could use a
little help. The two four-wheel-drive systems, Command-Trac II and Selec-Trac
II, make the Jeep Liberty highly capable off road, and they are further aided by
Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control.
